The World Is a Tea Party Presents: White Teas We Have Tried Over the Years

For a number of years (and still once and awhile even now) we got sent tea samples to try and write about. A “tea review.” Lots of people are doing them these days, and mostly with little knowledge of tea. When we started we didn’t know nearly as much as we do now, so we sometimes look back on those teas we try and see if we need to do an update. Usually, it’s not worthwhile, since our impressions of the teas were what mattered.

What came to us was the general impression of what where and were not white teas as well as when a tea vendor was legitimate or not. We present the white tea reviews in a streamlined format here for your perusal and for you to glean from them whatever use you can.

NOTE: When we began reviewing various teas, we would rate them using the 5-teapot ranking. Those ratings have been removed here since they are not only outdated by now, but the true quality of some of these samples became more apparent as we tried others.
