Greetings, humans! Time for another adventure that only I, your intrepid steeper of teas and seeker of the best tea information available, can bring you. This time we pair a tea that we’ve previously tried with another of those gadgets that people think are superior to us teapots for steeping your tea. Time to see if this is true. TOOOT! The wonderful folks at Cook’s Companion and More scour the market out there to find just the right cook wares, serving wares, tea wares, and more to make your cooking and dining experiences at home all the more special and memorable. Their store has become a favorite haunt, even though we have a well-stocked kitchen anyway and don’t do a lot of cooking. My humans are not aristocracy. In fact, here in the USA we have no aristocracy. So they had to imagine what tea time would be like for a lord of the manor. And they were sure that Lord Grantham’s tea time would certainly be special. The first step was the tea, and from there all seemed to fall into place.
We all long for a time of gentility, of refinement, of peace and calm, and a place in which to enjoy a pleasing cup of tea. That goal is embodied in the Lady Grantham Evening Tea from The Republic of Tea. This two-tea set, featuring both Lady and Lord Grantham, is from a local store called Cook’s Companion and More, a place chock full of all sorts of goodies for your inner chef (or even if you just like to dabble in the kitchen). As a tea lover and a bit of a Britophile (but not whole hog, as the saying goes), I was pleased to get this set. The tins themselves in their custom made gift box are quite an item to add to my tea tin collection. They are also great for a wonderful tea time photo such as this one, showcasing the tea amidst an array of genteel items for a relaxing image:

Your fave little teapot is here to bring you another great tea time experience, this one featuring Moravian cookies! My humans brought these home along with that new tray, which was the perfect way to serve up these cookies and a hot cup of tea to my humans. (I know, I know, they don’t deserve me…TOOOOT!)
