Hi, there, A.C. here, aka “human caretaker of Little Yellow Teapot and the Tea Gang.” Phew, long title! I have a bit of an announcement to make.

After five years writing for The English Tea Store’s blog, simply titled “Tea Blog,” and serving as its blog editor for 3.5 of those five years, the time has come to move on. I send my best wishes to all who wrote articles for that blog during my editorship. Their contributions kept the content varied and interesting. The blog owner’s decision to cut back on that was a surprise and done against my advice. But no need to bore you with all that. It’s also a good rule of thumb for us humans to look forward, with only a short backward glance now and then to see how far we’ve traveled – a bit of philosophy there!

On-to-next-phaseWhat lies ahead for me? Some very exciting tea adventures. Of course, I will be ably assisted by Little Yellow Teapot, et al. He has been chomping at the bit for this, and I can’t blame him. We were all starting to feel a bit too confined, with our tea interests expanding beyond the offerings of that tea vendor, as sizable as they are. We’re also quite spoiled by tea samples from several tea vendors out there (we stopped getting them since they took so much time to review and were in essence free PR for the tea vendor) that are such a delight. And we see that some of these vendors are expanding their horizons, too. Good times ahead, I’m sure.

So, don’t forget to keep checking this blog for the latest, or better yet subscribe to the feed, follow us on Twitter and Facebook, and synchronize your watches… uh, well, maybe not that last one. Happy sipping, all!
